Neville Hodges, Founder of Road Skills
Neville was a specialist motorcycle coach in Road Racing for Motorcycling Australia - South Australia. He had been a member of the National Coaching Council Australia for 2 years, and was one of the first Department of Transport qualified instructors for advanced motorcycle riding (Instructor #1241). Neville had been riding for 25 years and had experience on 15 different bikes ranging from 125cc to 1100cc. He successfully competed in road racing nationally in five racing classes for six years, where he won in the 250cc production class and was second in the South Australian championship on a 250cc GP. In 1997 as a B grade competitor he raced a Honda CBR900 in Formula Xtreme with the Super Bike Tour team. Neville held certificates from Road Craft courses through RiderSafe SA, Stay Upright Advanced, and Levels 1& 2 with Australian Super Bike schools at Phillip Island. Road Skills was established by Neville to pass on road survival skills gained through personal experience to other riders, to make their riding more confident, controlled, safer and a more enjoyable way of life.
